1A.  A great rarity - A SUSAN'S TOOTH - engraved by Fredk. Myrick, Sept. 2nd 1829.  Superbly engraved and rich patina.  A previously unrecorded example.  Sorry SOLD. (Gallery #2)

2. A superb American large-size oval MINIATURE on ivory of a sea captain from coastal Connecticut circa 1810. We also are offering a miniature of a sea captain from New Bedford circa 1810. (Gallery #4)

3. A superbly engraved 8 inch oval baleen DITTY BOX.  American origin circa 1825. Unusual details - Federal mansions and flowers. (see ANTIQUE BOXES, Gallery #2)

5. COMPASSES- we have compasses! We have over THREE DOZEN compasses of various types - boat compasses, pocket compasses, brass and wooden compasses....call for details and specific images.

6.  Mid 19th Century scrimshaw sperm whale's TOOTH - engraved with a Hudson River sloop with American flag and on reverse a British steam/sailer.  Beautiful deep patina.  Initialed L.C.H. (see ANTIQUE TEETH, Gallery #2)

8.  Choice mid 19th Century engraved sperm whale's TOOTH - A British ship under sail and the reverse a full-length portrait of a South American cowboy under palm trees.  (see ANTIQUE TEETH, Gallery #2)

11.  A rare collector's piece - a finely engraved TOOTH attributed to  the BANK NOTE ENGRAVER.  A full length lady and a large floral bouquet.  Beautiful rich patina. Circa 1840. (see Antique teeth, Gallery #2)

13A.  A mid 19th Century American scrimshaw sperm whale's TOOTH engraved with a classic American three-masted ship and a spectacular gladiator and lion  scene. (see ANTIQUE TEETH, Gallery #2)

A group of paintings of NANTUCKET -  an oil of Nantucket harbor with boats by Elizabeth Saltonstall, (see Gallery #4) and a Dionis Beach scene by Hubert Ripley dated 1903,  (Gallery #4)Nantucket Wharf Shacks by Anne Waldron 1930's  We have a large selection of Nantucket paintings. silver, maps, and related decorative accessories.

19.  Superb large size oil on canvas portrait of Admiral MacMillan of Provincetown painted by Gerrit Beneker.  Adm. MacMillan is painted in his seal skin jacket with distant ocean.  Signed and dated. (see ANTIQUE PICTURES, Gallery #4)
